The (Re)Insurance Claims Congress is the essential gathering for claims professionals in the London market.

Many colleagues will be familiar with the London Market Claims Council. The Claims Congress is a natural evolution of that event. We have gone back to the drawing board, in consultation with an advisory board of valued claims veterans, to create an event that is truly tailored to the needs of a modern claims professional. While underwriting often receives a higher profile, we believe that carriers’ performance on claims, the ‘public’ face of any insurer, is vital – and that claims can be just as demanding as the risk side of the business.

At this full-day event on 23 May, delegates will have the chance to discuss the top issues affecting claims today, including how to design a claims innovation strategy; the single claims agreement party model; GDPR and legal issues; and how to ensure carriers have a pipeline of top talent to prevent succession issues. While panel sessions will provide delegates with opportunities to hear from leading claims individuals, our variety of workshops will also allow colleagues to put forward their own views and learn from their peers.
