The Joint Cargo Committee (JCC) and Lloyd’s Marine Under 35s Insurance Group (MU35s) are pleased to invite you to a seminar by RGL Forensics on the issues surrounding smoke taint in cargo claims and resulting coverage issues.

The talk is being presented by Harriet Bateman (New York) and Jack Torpey (London), who will highlight some key challenges seen on the forensic accounting side of marine cargo losses, with some interesting case studies. Particular focus will be given to wine impacted by smoke taint, reviewing unincurred selling costs and overlap with traditional property policies.

The talk will be followed by drinks with the JCC and MU35s at Corney & Barrow, Lime Street from 17.00 onwards.
