Inspirational Black leaders in insurance

As part of Black History Month 2023, Lloyd’s Multicultural Awareness Network (MAC) is delighted to invite you to join us for a panel discussion with inspirational Black leaders from the insurance industry.

This is a fantastic opportunity to hear from those who are ‘firsts’ in the market and senior leaders about how they navigated their careers, what obstacles they overcame and what messages of advice they have for Black and ethnically diverse people, as well as allies.

The session will be introduced by Jo Scott, Executive Sponsor of Lloyd’s MAC and will be moderated by Eniola Alale, Co-Chair of Lloyd’s MAC. The speakers on the panel include:

• David Flint, Lloyd’s first Black broker
• Maxine Goddard, Senior Vice President, Strategic Distribution and Development, Sompo International
• Noon Ali, Head of Digital UK & Europe, Lockton
• Godwin Sosi, Co-Founder & CBO, Equity

There will be an opportunity for panellists to answer questions from the audience, with plenty of time for networking and drinks after the discussion. There will also be the opportunity to view the portraits of Diverse and Inclusive Champions by the artist Franklyn Rodgers, which includes a portrait of David.
