TMK Carnival 2024

Tokio Marine Kiln are proud to announce their very first Carnival event in partnership with Lloyd’s, in celebration of Black History Month.

Come along and be transformed through an expression of music, dance, art and literature, inspired by the roots of Afro-Caribbean culture. Join TMK for this unique immersive experience and travel through history as we share a fusion of cultures from Africa, the Caribbean and Britain.

Check out awesome historians and artists bringing something really special to the event. From actors portraying historical characters, untold stories of the Windrush, to a WW1 exhibition and archival presentation, spotlighting the contributions of the Black soldiers.

Alongside this, you’ll have the opportunity to have a dance as our DJ, African dancers and steel pan band take to the stage, and hear a song or two from one of our very own TMK Underwriting Assistants.

The TMK Carnival is a time for appreciation, understanding and celebration. So, get ready for a loud, colourful, and vibrant evening full of Afro-Caribbean culture!
