The new reinsurance broker landscape 2024

Join us in the Old Library at Lloyd’s for a reinsurance seminar where an expert panel formed by Vicky Carter, Robert Bisset, Krista Bonneau and Jim Lye offer differing perspectives on the new reinsurance broker landscape, now that so-called ‘challenger’ brokers have had a chance to scale and differentiate.

The much-heralded arrival of new ‘challenger’ reinsurance brokers in recent years saw a number of new broking firms quickly formed or reformed to address a potentially limited choice of reinsurance distribution partners, following a spate of industry M&A.

In this session, attendees can hear perspectives from incumbent and challenger brokers – along with their clients and partners – on the new reinsurance broker landscape, now that challenger brokers have had the chance to establish themselves. Of course, they will also consider the news that a former ‘big three’ player is set to return to the market and consider the implications for buyers, brokers and underwriters of reinsurance in the near and long term.
