The Insurance Institute of London (IIL) have teamed up with the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) to offer a two hour masterclass to help members understand the importance of clear and focused communication skills.

This masterclass will encourage participants to explore the range and potential of their body, breath and voice.

Participants will explore their natural communication style and learn tools and techniques for speaking with greater impact, passion and confidence. They will learn how to manage nerves and inhibitions, engage an audience and hold their space with presence and authenticity.

The skills learnt in this masterclass apply to a wide variety of settings, including presentations, meetings and negotiations.

By the end of this masterclass, members will have gained:

• A greater self-awareness of how they communicate with others
• A greater command and understanding of the body, breath and voice
• Strategies and tools for managing nerves
• A practical ‘toolkit’ of techniques that they will be able to take back into the workplace
