To mark International Men’s Day 2024, the Gender Inclusion Network are collaborating with AXA XL, Lloyd’s and WTW to host a networking lunch followed by a keynote speech by Gregg Stevenson and panel session discussing positive male role models and career mobility.
Gregg will be speaking about building self-esteem and self-belief; challenging the stigmas around toxic mobility and how role models have shaped who he is today and his career transition.
Gregg Stevenson served as a Royal Engineer Commando before suffering a traumatic injury in 2009, which led to a double leg imputation. Despite initial struggles, he worked hard to regain his fitness and pursued other opportunities including qualifying for the 2024 Paris Paralympics rowing and setting a World Best Time in an undefeated season in the PR2 category. He currently serves as the Armed Forces Lived Experience Lead and is pursuing PhD opportunities following completing his MSc in Psychology with a distinction last year.
