With the introduction of the pension freedoms in 2015 defined benefit transfers are more popular than ever but they aren’t for everyone. This lecture will delve into why you should or shouldn’t consider a transfer viable. In addition, Claire will discuss what is required by way of advice and what benefits need to be formally assessed an by who.

Speaker Bio:
Claire Trott has over 18 years’ experience in the pensions industry. Her career has ranged from a financial adviser dealing with pension transfers to helping advisers deal with the complexities of SIPPs and SSAS in a post simplification environment. Claire’s role with Technical Connection continues to build on her ability to communicate with various audiences using a wide array of media.
