The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) and the North Sea Transition Authority (NSTA) give a general update of CCUS in the UK.

The event will include

• General update of CCUS in the UK
• Update of T&SCo business models
• Track 1 update, Track 2 start, timing and progress to date
• Review of required BEIS/NSTA financial security and where commercial insurance can play a role
• The role of the role of the insurance schedule in the heads of terms and the difference between those elements and the wider commercial insurance opportunity
• The role of commercial insurance alongside the GSP/SCA and our thoughts on alignment between the two
• Insurance provider discussions to date and overview of findings from the BEIS/NSTA Insurance Working Group (completed in Autumn 2022) and progress since then
• NSTA CCUS licensing round updates
