You are invited to attend the Financial Institutions & Professional Indemnity Claims Committee’s (FIPICC’s) symposium.

The agenda for the afternoon will consist of two presentations delivered by FI/PI claims committee members and guest speakers, and a panel debate on the following topics:

• an update on the Committee’s current initiatives from Claire Lofthouse and Jonathan Bennett
• climate change litigation and what it might mean for Financial Institutions and Directors & Officers lines – guest speakers from CMS Cameron McKenna
• insurance tower disputes and shaving limits – panel debate.

During the interactive panel debate you will be asked to judge the arguments on insurance tower disputes in a number of different scenarios.

Attendees will gain insight into a number of issues likely to have an impact on FI/PI claims in the near future. The aim is to provoke thoughts and conversation on the kind of challenges that individual carriers, or the market as a whole, may face as a result.

This event is designed to be interactive so there will be ample opportunity for attendees to raise questions.
