The Master-Elect Philip Somervail has pleasure in inviting you to this year’s Annual Installation Dinner and AGM which will be held on Monday 27th February 2023.
The dinner will be held at the Trinity House. It will be preceded by the AGM which will be held at Trinity House, in the Court Room at 6.00pm prompt which is expected to finish by 6.45pm.
Our Master-Elect, Philip Somervail’s guest speaker is Joanna Hines, an author of fiction and non-fiction. She has published a number of acclaimed novels, including Improvising Carla which was dramatised for television in the early 2000s. She studied at Somerville College, Oxford and was for 3 years a Royal Literary Fund Fellow at St Mary’s University, Twickenham.
She now publishes non-fiction under her maiden name, Joanna Hodgkin, notably Amateurs in Eden: The Story of a Bohemian Marriage – a literary memoir about her mother, Nancy Isobel Myers, who was the first wife of writer Lawrence Durrell.
