In this IIL accident lecture Mark Burton and Joe McManus will look at the impact of technology on various types of injury claims and different types of heads of loss such as they are. They will comment on how this technology will change the landscape for insurers.

Mark and Joe will look at:

-Amputation claims and how technology is radically changing these claims
-Personalised medicine, the role of technology and its impact on the insurance market
-The long term impact of 3D technology on claims

Mark will look at:

-Care tech
-Brain in hand and its impact on brain injury claims
-New technology coming onto the market and its impact on care claims
-Osseointegration
-Predictions for the future

By the end of this lecture members would have gained an insight into:

-How technology is changing the injury claims landscape
-What hte technology is
-The impact of those changes and predictions for the future

Speakers Bios:
Mark has been a Partner at Kennedys since 2008. He runs the catastrophic injury group and regularly lectures on high value claims. Joe qualified in 1988 and has been a Partner at Kennedys since 2009. Both take a keen interest in technology and its impact on claims and the insurance market.
