ILS Asia 2024

We return to Singapore in 2024 for our sixth in-person insurance-linked securities (ILS) conference held in the city.

Our ILS Asia 2024 conference will be held at the Suntec Convention Centre, where we gathered for this event last year. The conference is designed with the same goals as previous years, prioritising education, updates on the ILS market and making connections. Bringing together those interested or involved in ILS from the Asia and Pacific regions with executives from the global insurance-linked securities (ILS) marketplace.

For 2024, the theme for our ILS Asia conference will be “Renewing growth opportunities,” which is appropriate given the robust performance of the catastrophe bond and ILS asset class over the last year, the fact a number of Singapore domiciled catastrophe bond and ILS transactions have renewed their coverage for sponsors, while expansion of the ILS asset class and its activity in the Asia Pacific region is a key goal for many market participants.

A year ago, Artemis held its ILS Asia 2023 conference with almost 200 attendees joining us for a full-day of ILS education, inspiration and networking. Prior to that, Artemis was last in Singapore for our fourth annual insurance-linked securities (ILS) conference in the city in 2019, which built on the success of 2016, 2017 and 2018 events.

At ILS Asia 2024 we will continue to demystify the ILS market, furthering education on the ILS asset class and reconnecting with our attendees, while updating them on regional and global ILS market activity and hearing the thoughts of mature-market ILS executives on the potential for further growth in Asia and beyond.

With the ILS market and catastrophe bonds in particular playing an increasingly important role as a diversifying risk capital source of reinsurance protection, investor interest is also at a high thanks to the very strong performance of 2023 that has continued into 2024 as well.

At the ILS Asia 2024 conference, we’ll discuss sector trends, the renewal and expansion of Singapore and Asia’s ILS business hubs, investor trends and sentiment, as well as the prospects for growth on both cat bond and collateralized reinsurance sides of the ILS investment market.
