The EU General Data Protection Regulation comes into effect on 25 May 2018. The LMA has now published a set of model GDPR wordings (LMA Bulletin LMA18-023-AC). This followed publication of updated market model agreements in March (LMA Bulletins LMA18-017-KK and LMA18-019-KK).

We also plan to publish further guidance on GDPR before this presentation, which will give an overview of the regulation and guidance on specific points which have arisen in the insurance market.

The presentations will be given by:

• Isabel Ost, Clyde & Co, on the model GDPR wordings; and
• Jade Kowalski and Rhiannon Webster, DAC Beachcroft, on the further guidance.
