Axis and the Insurance Insider invite you for a day-long symposium addressing the complexities of climate risk and the impacts of weather events on people and habitats. Researchers from across the University of Illinois campus will be discussing recent works regarding climate risks, while insurance industry professionals will discuss how climate impacts are affecting current business practices and what the future of insurance may hold. Leading climate risk academics from other institutions have also been invited to participate.

This free event is open to the public and will take place at the I-Hotel Conference Center in Champaign on Friday, Nov. 8, beginning with a breakfast reception at 7:30 a.m. The program starts at 8:30 a.m. and will conclude by 4 p.m.
