The LMA’s Financial Institutions & Professional Indemnity Claims Committee (FIPICC) in partnership with the FIPI Emerging Professionals & DWF law firm, will be delivering their first claims workshop of the year during March 2023.

Description

Attendees will work together in small groups on some example shaving of limits scenarios. This is against the backdrop of the Best Practice intra-insurer dispute resolution mechanism introduced by the FIPICC in 2022.

Attendees will gain a better understanding as to what shaving of limits is, when it might be relevant and what steps insurers (Lloyd’s and others globally) can take to resolve any such tower disputes in a timely manner.
