Cyber Claims Committee Forum

You are invited to attend the first Cyber Claims Committee Forum on Monday 13 May in the Lloyd’s Old Library.

This forum is split into two sessions: the morning session Cyber 1.0 has an introductory focus, while the afternoon session Cyber 2.0 delves into pressing issues for cyber insurers.

CYBER 1.0
09.30 – Cyber Coverage Essentials:

A walkthrough the core features of a Cyber Insurance Policy with Tony Kriesel,Hiscox, Adelle Gruber, Brit and Helga Munger, Munich Re.

10.45 – Data Breach Walkthrough and Threat Update:

Cyber security professionals demonstrate the techniques used by hackers to infiltrate computer systems. Following which a rundown of the top threats will be explained by Jano Bermudes and Claire Hodge from Ankura.

CYBER 2.0
14.00 – Cyber Business Interruption (BI):
Review of claims where the assessment of BI loss has gone well to draw out suggested best practices with David Rees, RKH Speciality, Damian Lawrence, Charles Taylor and Chris Ehlers, MDD.

15.30 – GDPR Fines Debate:
Are GDPR fines insurable? A debate chaired by Daniel Stewart, Channel. For the proposition Felix Zimmermann from Simmons & Simmons. Against the proposition, Seaton Gordon from Pinsent Masons.
