Insurance policy wordings are the products insurers sell. They are also technical legal documents. It is essential for anyone involved in insurance to have a proper grasp of how they work.

This programme will provide delegates with a greater understanding of contract wordings, how to make sure wordings achieve your objectives and the legal and regulatory context in which wordings operate. The content is designed to be relevant across all lines of insurance business.

Over six half-day modules, delegates will be taken through the essentials of policy wordings from basic contract law through to practical drafting guidance from some of the leading experts in the London market. They will gain a greater understanding of what policy wordings mean, how they operate and best practice for drafting and agreeing wordings.

The modules are delivered by a range of expert speakers and delegates will participate in group exercises, role plays and interactive scenarios taken from ‘real life’ situations during each session.
