In this IIL aviation webinar, Mark Searle will look at the management of change in aviation during the COVID-19 pandemic and how the International Air Transport Association (IATA) is focused in supporting industry through a coherent safety strategy aimed to deliver on a continued reduction in the aviation all-accident rate.
The COVID-19 pandemic has required aviation to adapt rapidly, in a way few have seen before, to an ever-changing landscape. The management of change is critical to assessing, and managing, potential safety risks and is where IATA have introduced a number of tools to capture, and collate, hazards and risks resulting from COVID-19 to support industry in their efforts to maintain safe operations.
This webinar will focus on specific issues where IATA has supported industry since the start of the crisis and how we are positioning ourselves to support industry in the restart. Also, with safety as the number 1 priority of IATA, Mark will share the efforts of the Association, in the new IATA safety strategy, to continually focus on the reduction of the all-accident rate.
