Artemis will be hosting its third insurance-linked securities (ILS) conference in the City of London on September 3rd 2024.

Last year, around 240 registered attendees enjoyed a busy day of thoughtful discussion from industry experts, as well as valuable networking opportunities.

In 2024 we return to again host detailed discussions on catastrophe bonds, the insurance-linked securities (ILS) market, while also kickstarting reinsurance renewal discussions for the end of the year.

Artemis London 2024 will feature a full day event of inspiring and educational talks and discussions, as well as valuable networking opportunities with industry leaders of the ILS market.

Main focus

There will again be a core focus on catastrophe bonds and ILS opportunities through the first two-thirds of the day, moving to a more reinsurance focused theme in the latter segment.

For 2024, our Artemis London conference will focus on how the ILS market can capitalise on a strong year of growth and returns, looking to future ways to deploy capital into key re/insurance hubs such as London and Lloyd’s, while also considering what investors really want, and exploring the role of innovation in expanding the ILS asset class.

As we have in prior years, the latter session of the day will set the tone for ILS market discussions at the 2024 Monte Carlo Reinsurance Rendez-vous event, which begins a few days after our Artemis London conference. So expect discussions on the outlook for collateralised reinsurance, and a focus on what ILS fund managers will be seeking from their renewal engagements this year.
