The Singapore International Reinsurance Conference (SIRC) was launched in 1991 to provide insurance professionals a forum to meet and discuss issues of the day, while taking stock of developments in the reinsurance market; and starting preparations for the following year’s treaty renewals.
Over the years, the SIRC has gained a strong reputation and loyal following, with reinsurers, insurers and reinsurance brokers from all over the world attending and conducting bilateral discussions alongside the main conference, which has attracted close to 1,000 registered delegates from around the world since 2017 when the Conference was organised annually.
Whilst we are planning to deliver an even better event experience for all our delegates and participating companies, we are closely monitoring the COVID-19 developments globally and are making various contingency provisions, with the health and safety of all our stakeholders at the very heart of our plans.
Established in 1979, the Singapore Reinsurers’ Association (SRA) strives to advance the reinsurance industry in Singapore and its diverse career opportunities. All major non-life reinsurance companies with a presence in Singapore, as well as some direct insurance companies that write a substantial reinsurance portfolio are members of the SRA.
Launched in 1991, Asia Insurance Review (AIR) is Asia’s foremost comprehensive professional regional journal serving the information needs of insurance practitioners. AIR organise a number of conferences and industry events, including the Asia Insurance Industry Awards – held since 1997 to recognise and salute excellence in the insurance industry.
