WSIA Annual Marketplace 2026

The Wholesale and Specialty Insurance Association’s Annual Marketplace is the yearly meeting of the United States excess and surplus lines sector, based at the Manchester Grand Hyatt and a neighbouring hotel in San Diego.

• The format is scheduled private appointments between wholesale brokers, managing general agents, carriers and reinsurers rather than an open exhibition floor, supported by association business sessions and receptions.
• Attendees are brokerage principals, underwriters, programme managers and service providers to the sector. Entry is trade only, so stands are built to be worked by sales teams rather than to catch passing footfall.
• Most stands are shell scheme or table-top, with booth displays, pop-up displays, fabric backdrops covering the majority of exhibitors.
• Alongside insurance, the floor carries a finance/banking section, which widens the buyer mix beyond a single trade.

WSIA meeting spaces will be co-headquartered at the Manchester Grand Hyatt and Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina, and you should schedule meetings accordingly to allow time to move between the two properties.
