On December 8th, S&P Global Ratings updated its published CLO Criteria Guidance to provide additional clarity and transparency on how they approach certain features in transaction documents when rating CLOs. The updates don’t affect the quantitative portions of our criteria or subordination levels but include our views on CLO transaction document items such as workout loans that have become more prominent since the onset of the global COVID-19 pandemic earlier this year.
