Sophie is a Corporate Affairs Director with over 20 years’ experience in the UK, EMEA and global insurance sector. Her specialisms include external communications, reputation and crisis management, media relations, public affairs, diversity and sustainability.

Sophie’s focus is on mapping corporate affairs strategies to organisational strategy and keeping pace with the political, news and societal change agendas. She has a personal passion to ensure a strong link between business and society and helping organisations to build brand value, personality, purpose and impact.

Sophie was a founding member Zurich’s UK Women’s Innovation Network and the Gender Inclusion Network for Insurance and is a member of the Insurance Supper Club. Sophie is also member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR), Women in Public Affairs (WiPA) and an Associate of the Institute of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability (ICRS). Sophie was awarded Freedom of the City of London in 2019 for services to diversity.

Outside of work, Sophie is a mum of one and is a competitive triathlete and swimmer, having represented Great Britain in European and World Age Group championships and has completed open water swimming marathons and Ironman.
