Description

Our research, combining data from KPMG’s decarbonisation sector experts and input from market underwriters, aims to illustrate decarbonisation pathways for some of Lloyd’s key sectors. It highlights the potential impact of underwriting risks, the business mix and the opportunities arising from abatement actions at different timescales along the decarbonisation path.

KPMG and the LMA are working together to develop a framework to support Lloyd’s underwriting teams in better understanding what the transition to net zero means for their portfolios and the key changes in the types of risks that underwriters might need to consider in the future.
