The celebration of UK Black History Month culminates with Black and British: A Forgotten History, a webinar featuring award-winning author, historian and broadcaster David Olusoga. The event, slated for Tuesday, Nov. 30, at 3 p.m. GMT (10 a.m. ET), will show how the Black community has been part of British history and society for many years. David will also briefly touch on several events discussed in his book, “Black and British”, for which he won several awards, including the PEN Hessell-Tiltman Prize and the Longman–History Today Trustees Award in 2017.
