Poetry Evening with Helen Stockton

After the success of our first poetry session we have arranged another session with Helen Stockton.

Love is the theme.

We thought it might be interesting to look at poems about love and compare a traditional poem with a modern one to see how styles have developed and what themes are consistent. We will give you the titles and send you a copy of each poem nearer the time.

As before, it will be a Zoom event so you can attend from the comfort of your own home. It will cost £10 per “screen” so you can have as many people with you as you want for the one price.

The event will start at 6pm and last for an hour. Helen will be happy to stay on for a little while after for questions, then we will leave the screens on until 8pm so you can have a general chat about poetry, love and life.
