On behalf of the Thai General Insurance Association, it is my distinct honor to extend a warm welcome to all esteemed participants to the Thailand Reinsurance Conference 2025, which will take place from 30 October to 1 November 2025 at The Athenee Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand.

This inaugural event marks a historic milestone for Thailand’s insurance industry, representing the first international reinsurance platform to be hosted in the country. It is dedicated to fostering collaboration across the fields of insurance and reinsurance. Under the auspices of the Thailand Reinsurance Conference, this landmark gathering aspires to strengthen international partnerships, facilitate the exchange of knowledge, and promote sustainable business development on a global scale.

The concept for this conference was initiated in 2024 by the Thai General Insurance Association, with the strategic vision of establishing a forum that enables global reinsurers and reinsurance brokers to gain direct and meaningful insight into the insurance markets of Thailand and ASEAN. Simultaneously, it aims to enhance access for Thai insurers to engage in dialogue, forge partnerships, and explore opportunities with international counterparts – thereby reinforcing Thailand’s positioning as a regional hub for insurance and reinsurance.

Over the course of the conference, delegates will be invited to participate in high-level seminars, in-depth bilateral discussions, and strategic dialogues that address key issues and emerging trends in our field. The program also includes curated networking activities designed to foster mutual understanding and long-term collaboration in a setting that encourages open exchange and shared inspiration.
