David Crawford
David is currently the Vice President of Finance and Corporate Services at the Pacific National Exhibition (PNE) in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. As well as being a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors of Canada, David is a Chartered Professional Accountant, an Environmental Professional, with professional focus on ESG practices and expertise in sustainability and the built environment. Drawing on this expertise for the event, David will examine how IoT, Data Science and Real Time Risk Management has been utilised by PNE to reduce operating costs and develop healthy sustainable environments for the benefit of people.
James Martin
James has worked in the insurance industry for almost 25 years, the last 13 of which have been with AXA XL. In 2020, James was appointed to lead a new, dedicated client management function for the Americas region as part of AXA XL’s restructure. He is now responsible for implementing their client management model within the region, bringing consistency to how AXA XL deliver their proposition to major corporate clients, develop best practice and drive a Customer First culture and mindset through the business. At the event, James will be discussing how he utilised IoT devices in a strategy to monitor the property health and asset productivity of a food manufacturing client.
Faith Kitchen
Faith has over 22 years experience in the insurance industry, holding roles in underwriting, marketing and product development, before being appointed Director – Education and Heritage for Ecclesiastical Insurance in 2015 and Customer Segment Director in 2021. Faith has always been passionate about the customer and delivering propositions that deliver true value to the customer, using cutting-edge technology to help bring great results. As a member of the panel, Faith will examine how IoT devices can be used to prevent fire and water losses before they occur.
Hernan Cantillo
Hernan is a retired officer of the Colombian Navy in which he served as an Industrial Engineer with a specialisation in terminal ports technology, operations and environmental management. He is now a Certified Risk Manager and works as a Risk Engineering Manager for Chubb LATAM. He has been working for Chubb since 1997, first in Colombia, followed by Argentina and he most recently joined the Miami team in 2019. During the event, Hernan will explore how IoT can be utilised in risk engineering and loss control.
