In Q4 2020 a joint review of the Single Claims Agreement Party (SCAP) was undertaken by the market trade Associations, Lloyd’s and DXC to determine usage and effectiveness and which revealed:
So if the review was so glaring then why are we looking to undertake a claims refresher?
There continue to be organisations that have not adopted SCAP for several reasons but one of the reasons, that training can rectify, is the fact that these organisations did not know how SCAP operated or how to adopt SCAP. There also continue to be common errors in the market that cause frustration and delays and that can be easily resolved. Sometimes we all just need a refresher!
