Our speakers will focus on the retention and use of experts in first and third party claims in the US.

The training will cover:

• the various roles that TPAs, loss adjusters and various professional disciplines have in the adjustment and/or investigation of claims
• when and how they should be utilised
• the issues to consider when retaining experts and communicating with them
• the role counsel plays in the process.

Attendees will gain a better understanding regarding when it is appropriate to retain an expert(s), the nuances attendant to choosing the right expert witness, and whether a privilege attaches to expert communications.
