Private Tour of the Royal Hospital Chelsea – an exclusive experience for IIL members 2024

We are delighted to announce a private tour for IIL members of the Royal Hospital Chelsea, home to the iconic Chelsea Pensioners!

Description

The Royal Hospital Chelsea is a magnificent Grade I and II listed site, dating back over 300 years to the reign of King Charles II, whose vision for a home for veteran soldiers was brought to life by Sir Christopher Wren.

This historic building and its beautiful grounds backing onto the River Thames are not normally open to the public, but we have organised a private tour exclusively for our members, which will be led by your very own Chelsea Pensioner tour guide.

The tour will last around 90 minutes, followed by 30 minutes to visit the Museum and Gift Shop.
