Attendees will gain a better understanding of some of the major components that make up a wind turbine and some of the risks that accompany them.
Wind turbines are complex mechanical structures formed of various components that enable them to extract energy from the wind. The presentation will provide a closer look to some of the components that make this possible such as monopiles, blades, gearboxes, generators and subsea cables, and show some examples of the risks that they carry during the construction or operational phase.
