For decades, the Lloyd’s Agency through the Certificate Office has been offering pre-printed Lloyd’s-branded certificates to the Lloyd’s insurance community, customised to their cargo insurance client requirements. In the 2000s, electronic versions of these certificates became available and offered by two providers.
In October 2021, the Lloyd’s Agency announced the closure of its certificate issuance services. This closure would put the Certificates Office into runoff with eventual closure in October 2022.
Since the cessation announcement, World Assurance, a Canadian software company, introduced the same certificate issuance services as the Certificate Office and at the same pricing structure branded as qCerts. Our speakers will outline one of the solutions available.
This is a joint LMA and IUA event.
