The first Joint Cargo Committee (JCC) Forum of the year will take place on Wednesday 01 March 2023 in the Lloyd’s Old Library.

Description

The Forum will include a brief report on current JCC activity, followed by an S&P Global Market Intelligence briefing on the cargo risks outlook for 2023.

The S&P Global Market Intelligence team will give an update on the following topics:

• potential for military escalation by Iran in the Middle East Gulf and scenarios impacting global trade
• risks to marine operations in Mexico’s Bay of Campeche from increasing involvement of organised crime in piracy
• latest forecasts on Russia’s invasion of Ukraine with associated impact on cargo movements.
