The XIVth edition of the International Istanbul Insurance Conference will take place on 8 – 9 November 2022 in a virtual format, this year’s main topic being “Global Changes and Their Impact on (Re)Insurance Market and Supply Chain”.

The Insurance Practitioners Association, as organizer, has invited distinguished speakers from the Turkish and Global Insurance & Reinsurance markets to exchange ideas and brief the participants on the topic.

The first day of the conference will be held in English and in the 1st session we will discuss one of the hot topics, which is climate change-the challenges for (re)insurers, natural events with CAT consequences, coverage & exposure and modelling. In the second session, discussions will focus on the impact of social and economic trends and inflation risk in the (re)insurance market, sustainability, under insurance and supply chain risk.

In the 2nd day, the conference will be held in Turkish and motor insurance will be discussed in terms of modelling, pricing, reserving, solvency requirements, recovery, spare parts and assistance services.

The organizers of the XIV. International Istanbul Insurance Conference are bringing together the Turkish regulatory authority, Turkish Insurance Association, professional bodies, insurers, reinsurers, brokers, NGO’s and press.
