At this half-day cyber conference, our guest speakers will explore cyber security issues, case examples for study and discuss the keys to cyber security planning and prevention.
Malware launched by organised crime groups is becoming more sophisticated, thereby increasing the number and range of potential attackers. Cyber-attacks have the ability to disrupt operating systems and processes affecting businesses globally as well having significant consequences to human life.
British cyber-thriller television series The Undeclared War, written by Peter Kominsky has recently been aired on Channel 4. Set in the near future, the series follows how a foreign intelligence service infiltrates national life with malware and other attack vectors before it causes a national emergency to the UK’s infrastructure.
Although fiction, the series contains a huge amount of cyber fact and, at this conference, our guest panelists will discuss the multiple cyber scenarios raised by this programme and how this may impact the cyber insurance market.
Further speakers to be confirmed and full agenda will be distributed in due course.
