Climate-related risks: When will it be too late for financial firms to act?

Welcome to the third Camelot Live event, hosted by our Sustainability Think Tank.

The evidence for rapid climate change is compelling. Awareness about the issue is increasing all around the globe, but what do financial institutions need to be doing today?

In this event, Camelot experts will share their views on how companies can start understanding, and translating, what the climate change policy and regulatory requirements mean for their business, and what they need to do now.

The key themes we will be discussing are:

  • The impact of climate change on Financial Services, regardless of how reality unfolds.
  • How UK regulators are leading in helping firms to gain an understanding of the topic.
  • The recommendations from the Financial Stability Board’s (FSB’s) Task force for Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) and how firms can internalise them.
  • How, by starting now, firms have time to capitalise on innovation and opportunities.

Take this opportunity to learn from sustainability experts not only what the regulation is, but how your company can harness it and thrive.

Following this discussion, the panel will open up to your comments and questions, inviting you ‘on-stage’ to get answers directly from our Sustainability Think Tank.
