Welcome Address of the Local Organising Committee Chairman – LOC

For millennia, Egypt has stood as one of Africa’s jewels, a nation deeply rooted in the continent yet defined by a civilization uniquely its own, a legacy enriching humanity and complementing global and African cultural heritage. Home to wonders from the pyramids to the Grand Egyptian Museum, the world’s largest museum dedicated to a single civilization, Egypt proudly celebrates its remarkable history while embracing modernity.

From this Land of Peace, cradle of civilization and northeastern gateway to Africa, the most welcoming home to all peoples and cultures, and on behalf of the Insurers Federation of Egypt (IFE), proud host of the 52nd AIO Conference and Annual General Assembly, together with our Board, it is my honor to welcome you in advance to your second home as you prepare to join us at InterContinental CityStars, Cairo, from 05 to 09 June 2026.

Following our memorable hosting of the 28th AIO African Reinsurance Forum in 2024, our commitment remains steadfast to those who were with us then and to those we look forward to welcoming now.
