The Federation of African National Insurance Companies is organizing its 49th annual General Assembly in Morocco. It will be held from February 22 to 26, 2025 in Marrakech under the theme: “What Levers for Inclusive and Sustainable Insurance Development in Africa?”.
The Federation of African National Insurance Companies, FANAF, is an international professional organisation which objective is to promote the development of insurance in Africa.
With some 210 members across Africa, it aims to transform the insurance industry into a major player in economic and social development.
At the invitation of the Moroccan Federation of Insurance, FANAF will hold its forty-ninth General Assembly in Marrakech from February 22 to 26, 2025, under the general theme “What levers for inclusive and sustainable insurance development in Africa?
The FANAF General Assembly has become a key event on the agenda of African insurance industry players, providing a forum for reflection on the sector’s current challenges, as well as offering opportunities for business exchanges.
The Moroccan insurance market, cited as an example for its dynamism, particularly in terms of the rate of insurance penetration in Africa, offers us an excellent opportunity to strengthen South-South partnerships in support of our shared ambition to make our industry a key player in the inclusive and sustainable development of our continent.
This 49th Annual General Assembly in Marrakech is a must-attend event for all insurance and financial players keen to see our industry improve its position at the heart of Africa’s economic and social development, by identifying the best levers for growth and innovation. I look forward to seeing you all in February 2025, in the Ochre City.
