Following the recent International Underwriting Association (IUA) virtual Market Briefing of 21 September 2020, IUA is pleased to confirm the details of a follow-up session with Simon Cooper of Ince. This session, structured in a Q&A format, will answer questions posed by IUA members regarding the landmark judgement and the potential for an appeal to be granted.
The organisers would like to welcome members to submit their questions to Tom Hughes at the earliest opportunity, in order for these to be compiled ahead of the event.
IUA will also take the opportunity to consider the outcome of the forthcoming consequentials hearing scheduled for 2 October 2020, where the Court will hear submissions from the parties on the appropriate declarations to be made by the Court in the light of the judgement and on any applications for appeal.
