DESCRIPTION:This event has been postponed\n					Due to Covid-19 situation\, this event has been postponed.\n				\nIn this Insurance Institute of London (IIL) accident lecture Richard Lawrence and Michael Salau will talk about the complexities of waste legislation/regulations and how breaches of the same can give rise to a claim under an insurance policy. The lecture will also give an overview on the potential costs associated with these claims and will provide an understanding of how coverage may vary under different types of policy in the market. \nRichard will talk through two case studies\, both of which relate to claims made under an insurance policy for the illegal importation\, processing or depositing of waste on an insured premise. He will discuss where/how a legal liability attached to the insured party and how the policy responded (or did not as the case may be).
