SUMMARY:Walbrook Music Trust concert for the Red Squirrel Woodland Project
DESCRIPTION:An invitation from the event organisers\nDear All\, \nNeil and I are so happy to be performing at St. Stephen Walbrook again on 21st December at lunchtime. We have put together a wonderful programme featuring many seasonal works and are repeating The Squirrels from our July concert. The reason for this is my brother Simon Howes leaves La Gomera all the way across the Atlantic Ocean to Antigua on this Sunday 12th December rowing solo. This epic voyage is in aid of the Isle of Wight Red Squirrel Trust and he’s more than half way to raising £100\,000. \nThe purpose of the fundraising is to build a woodland sanctuary on the Island so all these little Squirrel Nutkins can be safe for ever. You can find out more about this adventure at www.atlanticrower.com and the details of how to give are also on the website at www.justgiving.com. And you can follow the journey across the big sea. \nThis concert may well be banned but I thought I’d think positive and send out this timely reminder anyway.
