SUMMARY:Visit to Aviva Digital Garage
DESCRIPTION:This CPD visit to Aviva Digital Garage\, in the heart of London’s Tech City in Shoreditch\, will offer a first-hand insight as to how Aviva is using digital applications to transform the insurance business. \nThis visit will be hosted by members of the Aviva Digital Garage team who will showcase and demo some of the exciting innovations they are developing. \nDuring the visit\, the hosts will provide an introduction to their digital businesses\, an overview of how their digital story has evolved and some insights into some of the new things they are working on. Attendees will also see Aviva’s own start up\, Quote Me Happy\, which was launched in 2011 to cater for the growing number of motorists looking to buy and manage their insurance online through aggregators. Attendees will be introduced to Quantum\, Aviva’s data science practice\, which will bring to life how Aviva is using its data and analytics to give customers a simple and rewarding experience. Finally\, attendees will be taken on a tour of the Garage\, allowing them to understand more about its history and how the company is driving cultural change for Aviva. \nBy the end of this visit members would have gained an insight into: \n • How a digital environment can allow customers to engage with insurance products and services \nAll presentations will include a Q&A session.
