SUMMARY:US Concussion Litigation Briefing
DESCRIPTION:This briefing will advise on developments in litigation regarding Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) injuries. The Lloyd’s market underwrites a large volume of high limit coverage for Temporary and Permanent Disability products for (full) contact sports such as NFL\, NBA\, NHL and MLB and developments in this area are likely to be of interest to the A&H market as well as US GL underwriters. \nChristopher R. Carroll is a partner in the New York and New Jersey offices of Kennedys LLP and is a member of the firm’s Global Strategy Board. He has extensive experience in handling and resolving — through litigation and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms — insurance coverage disputes\, including those involving environmental\, toxic tort\, asbestos\, construction\, advertising liability\, products\, cyber\, property\, automobile\, and employment issues. Chris also leads a team of Kennedys lawyers serving as the designated liaison counsel by the New York Supreme Court in coverage litigation against the National Football League arising from widely publicised lawsuits brought by thousands of former players who are alleged to have developed brain injuries years after their NFL careers ended. \nThe presentation will include an in-depth discussion of the current science and related issues. \nAUDIENCE\nAnyone with an interest in US Accident & Health business. This session is open to LMA members only. \n \n\n \n Share this event with your colleagues:\n \n \n \n\n \n \n\n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n Facebook\n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n Twitter\n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n LinkedIn\n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n Email\n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n This event requires membership.
