SUMMARY:Tour De Essex in support of Kids Inspire UK charity
DESCRIPTION:Following the success and support (from the market) for the 2019 Kids Inspire Charity cycle ride to Amsterdam\, and the anticipated follow up from London to Paris\, which has now also been postponed for 2021 due to Covid-19. The charity have planned a cycle ride of a combined total of 2021 miles on a circular 20.21-mile loop in Essex\, starting and finishing at the charity’s HQ. \nDescription\nRe-planned cycle for 2021 – September. \nThe 2021 challenge will tour parts of Essex as a one-day event which will appeal to varying levels of cycling ability\, allowing people to make their route as hard or long as they are comfortable with\, doing so on an individual\, group\, or team basis. \nUniting and networking\nThe market and industry support for the cycle ride in 2019 brought together insurance professionals from different corners of the market and it’s disciplines\, uniting them around a great cause and a collective goal\, raising a record £70k for Kids Inspire\, whilst creating a great networking opportunity for those that participated from our membership. \n \nKids Inspire\nThis event will support Kids Inspire in what has been a challenging time for fundraising\, whilst their services have been called upon to a greater level throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.\nThe charity helps disadvantaged young people turn their lives around and gives them back their future\, supporting young people who are at an educational\, social and/or economic disadvantage resulting from trauma or mental health issues.
