SUMMARY:Structured Data Capture Demonstration
DESCRIPTION:AUDIENCE \nAnyone with an interest in SDC. This session is open to LMA & IUA members only. \nThe Structured Data Captured (SDC) service is now live and extracts data from MRC slips into structured ACORD placing message format\, which can then be consumed by any IT system where the data is usually re-keyed. \nYou are invited to register for a demonstration event that will show what can be achieved and outline the benefits to carriers\, including: \nreduced data entry time\nconsistency of information between stakeholders\nelimination of re-keying errors\nelimination of query/response activities\ntime savings.\nFollowing the demonstration there will be a chance for questions and answers. \nThe Standard Data Capture project has been developed to automatically extracting structured data items from un-structured documents held in formats such as Microsoft Word or PDF and is part of the Target Operation Model (TOM) data integration workstream. A link from PPL to SDC went live at the start of October 2017\, for all MRCs at Firm Order. All classes of business are catered for\, single or multi sections. \nFurther demonstrations will be scheduled monthly as this project rolls out to the market. \nBook now\nThis session is open to LMA & IUA members only.
