DESCRIPTION:Remembrance Day ceremony 2025\nThe Lloyd’s Remembrance Day ceremony will take place on Friday 07 November in the Lloyd’s Underwriting Room in London from 10.45 GMT\, followed by a two-minute silence from 11.00. \nOur Chairman\, Sir Charles Roxburgh\, will be welcoming War Widows and Far East Prisoners of War as esteemed guests to Lloyd’s for the service\, including Alastair King\, the Lord Mayor of London\, Chelsea Pensioners\, and representatives of the Royal British Legion Lloyd’s and City Branch. A Guard of Honour will be provided by HMS President Royal Naval Reserve\, HMS Queen Elizabeth\, Number 17 Company (Coldstream)\, 1st Battalion The London Guards and the South East and City of London NE Sector Army Cadet Force. Members of the Lloyd’s Military network will also be in attendance. \nThe Lloyd’s Choir will perform before the wreath laying ceremony\, following which the Lutine Bell will be rung ahead of the Last Post being sounded by buglers which begins the two minutes of silence. \nFurther information\nTo help ensure the ceremony runs smoothly the following measures will be in place across the building: \n\nThe Concourse Reception will be closed during the service\, reopening at 11:15\nTower 1 will be closed from 10:15 until the end of the service\nTower 3 and 5 will be open during the service\, but late comers should arrive as quietly as possible\nEscalators will be shut off just before the event and will be reinstated shortly after\n\nIf you have planned external guests visiting Lloyd’s during the ceremony\, you will need to meet/ greet and collect the guest passes from Concourse reception before 10:30.
