We’ll openly discuss the key pressure points of driving down operating costs\, combined with the increasing use of data and analytics in the underwriting process\, overlaid by a very new working environment\, mostly brought about by the sudden pandemic. \nUnderwriting is an evolving profession\, which is facing some testing times\, due to external factors such as the war in Ukraine and climate related risks. Technology and the availability of realtime and predictive data are also changing the world of underwriting and during this Practice Group\, we’ll be seeking the views of those attending\, in our normal roundtable style\, on the challenges with existing technologies\, as well as explaining a way of achieving a more “joined up” digital approach to underwriting. \nAs normal\, we’ll have some headline thoughts from our guest contributors\, followed by a delicious hot cooked breakfast\, and then our popular open round table\, where there’ll be the chance for everyone to contribute to the conversation.
