DESCRIPTION:Ticket application forms have been mailed to members with the Spring edition of The Quill.  If you have not received yours\, please contact the Hon. Secretary\, Cliff Hutchinson. NEW Club Ties in blue or red with the Three Rooms Club distinctive logo will be on sale throughout the evening. \nLong Service Awards will be presented to those members who have worked for 45 years continuously\, for either a Lloyd’s Broker\, a Lloyd’s Underwriting Syndicate or if you were employed by the Corporation of Lloyd’s. If you would like to make a nomination in the spirit of the Trust’s objectives\, please write to the Trustees of the Three Rooms Charitable Trust at Lloyd’s. \nThe Club was started by a group of like minded individuals who all worked in the Three Rooms at Lloyd’s; the 1928 Building; the 1958 Building and the 1986 Building. With the passage of time\, membership is also available to anyone who has worked at Lloyd’s with 25 years service or more as an underwriter\, a broker\, member of the liveried staff or the Corporation of Lloyd’s. \nThere are around a thousand members who realise that Lloyd’s is not just a “living” it is a way of life where the sense of belonging is indigenous and camaraderie epitomises the whole Society. \nThe Club allows these sentiments and beliefs to endure. We meet generally twice a year in April and November at Lloyd’s. Our “Get Togethers” are a time for friends and colleagues both working and retired; old and new; regardless of the firm we worked for\, to exchange the latest news and gossip about the past and future in a convivial atmosphere\, with a well earned glass and refreshments.
